Beyond the seven mountains, beyond the seven... senses
Many of you are probably already familiar with winged handbags. They're our signature styles. A touch of avant-garde in a utilitarian design that every woman can wear every day.
Many of you are probably already familiar with winged handbags. They're our signature styles. A touch of avant-garde wrapped in a utilitarian style that can accompany every woman every day.
And how did it all begin?
Quite specifically ;)
Namely, with a unique exhibition that took place at the Tichauer Art Gallery in Tychy.
7 Senses – as it was titled – was organized by the HELISA Foundation under the direction of Katarzyna Korus. An exhibition that was meant to caress everything we feel!
Soothe with sound, embrace with art, and rock with dance.
The space was filled with art of all flavors!
There were paintings by the exhibition's creator, who, using her unique technique, combined realistic images with fantasy atmospheres and a slightly surreal reality. There were sculptures by Martha Mulawa, which connected us with nature through human touches. Photographs by Jaga Hupało, which immortalized her artistic and image-making endeavors. Moreover, the unique performance that emerged from her hands probably introduced everyone to a parallel reality of art, not only hairdressing, but was a symbol of change and a kind of transition to a different zone of feeling.
Sebastian Cynk, who like no one else can dress emotions in dance!
All of this, wrapped in the music of Sebastian Wichary (Adam Nickey), Michał Pilecki (Monomike), and Joanna Zubrycka (Miss God), created an incredible and incredibly cohesive whole!
Gaba Porabik – the creator of our brand – was invited to co-create this event.
It was not only a great honor for her, but also a challenge of sorts, to try to create a collection that combines feelings, emotions, senses, and everything that is important for our body and spirit.
But she succeeded – Gaba created models that not only carry elements of etherealness and transience, but above all, are based on a form that can be found every day in the world around us. space.
And these were the beginnings of the now quite well-known collection s e v e n . s e n s e s
Its prototypes were hand-sewn backpacks, incredibly richly decorated and finished with impressive wings. Each of these initial pieces was created as a single, unique piece, and these were models dedicated to the aforementioned exhibition.
Some of them quickly found their buyers, while others remained to continue accompanying not only Gaba – but also us – on our further, sensual journey.
But that wasn't the end...
It was only the beginning!
Based on the first pieces, Gaba transferred the collection's concept to a series of models bearing our logo for a wider audience. She created something everyone could afford.
Something that gave every woman wings and made her feel special.
And thus, the winged motif was transferred to the styles you can still buy from us – and will be able to for a very long time ;)
What do you think?
Is this avant-garde style that suits your tastes, or do you prefer more classic motifs? :)
